About the training

This two-day experiential training (10am–5pm each day) is designed for Dance Movement Psychotherapists and dance artists who want to develop confidence, ideas, and practical skills for leading therapeutic movement and wellbeing groups.

Across the training, participants will explore the Breathe Dance Model, using it as a framework to inspire and develop your own therapeutic dance and movement groups. You will learn how to hold safe, trauma-informed, creative, and supportive spaces where participants can connect with their bodies, emotions, creativity, and each other.

This training offers an introduction to facilitation skills, session design, and group-holding principles, providing the confidence and tools to begin your own wellbeing or therapeutic movement groups.
