Breathe In Norwich

Breathe Norwich

An award-winning Dance for Wellbeing group for women

Breathe Norwich is a welcoming, women-only dance for wellbeing class — a space to move, breathe, reconnect and feel supported in community.

Breathe Dance was recognised with a Norfolk Arts Award, celebrating its contribution to creative wellbeing in the community. The sessions draw on practices from community dance and Dance Movement Psychotherapy, offering movement that is both creatively enriching and emotionally supportive.

Class includes a blend of:

  • Gentle movement meditations

  • Accessible contemporary dance sequences

  • Creative explorations and improvisation

  • Opportunities for reflection and connection

  • Yearly community sharing at Norwich Plantation Gardens

The focus is not on technique or performance, but on how movement feels in your body. Through breath and dance, participants are supported to reconnect with a sense of vitality, creativity and aliveness.

You are invited to move at your own pace in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

No dance experience is needed —come as you are.
